Rich elderflower aromas, ripe red berry and citrus flavours and a long, smooth, fruity finish. Attila was our first ever Cask Aged beer! John Bryan (our Brewing Director) started his first experiments with krausening Attila back in 2001, wanting to create a strong ale that was nevertheless easy to drink. Although perhaps only John would regard a 7.5% ABV strong ale like Attila as “sessionable” ! Colour: Antique Gold Hops: Brewers Gold, Spalt Select and Magnum (all Germany) Malts: Maris Otter, Wheat Malt and Clear Choice Allergens: Contains Gluten

Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 (Yet another beer that I had on the Saturday morning when all was quite and after icing up , this was quite nice for breakfast at 07:30) Honey and hop dominate the nose of this almost straw coloured very light beer with a white foamy head sat atop. In a blind tasting I think that I would fail miserably at guessing the strength of this beer as it drank like a session ale. A nice floralness about this along with diluted honey and a delicate bitterness., its not a world beater and not even close to the best that Oakham can do but that aside its actually pretty good..
