Cask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Beige head, deep ruby-black body, dotted spots on the glass. Dark doughy aroma, hints of herbal hops. Mid-dry taste of almond and chocolate malts. Moments of roasted bitterness to the finish. Fair enough. (07.02.2019).

Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Black beer no real head. Liquorice and malty dark beer. Some dryness on the finish. Pleasant enough winter beer.

22/5/2018. Cask at The Victoria Comet, Newcastle. Pours dark chestnut brown with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate, moderate roasting and dried fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Decent brew, enjoyed this.

Cask at the Old Contemptibles, Brum. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is bitter coffee and chocolate. Taste has milk chocolate, caramel, raisin and bread.

Cask @ Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Nice head with medium duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, nuts, hops and malt. Light bitter finish.
