Bottle, 22oz. It pours a beautiful black body under a finger thick dense, tan head. Spice nose with cloves. Roasted and coffee-ish. The flavor has a spiced touch, with roasted malts and some coffee. Pleasantly bitter in the end. Medium to full body. Overall, too spiced for my likings, but far from a bad beer. Very far. 091230

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, chocolate, and wood. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wood and dark bitter chocolate, as well as medium notes of roasted malt and spices - cardemomme and some cinnamon, leading to a dry spicy, roasted, and woody finish. Thanks Steve for this beer.
