Many Mexican beer styles today are descendants of old Austrian styles, from when Austria ruled Mexico in the late 19th century. Our Dos Perros is made with German Munich malt, English Pale malt, and Chocolate malt, and hopped with Perle and Saaz hops. To lighten the body, as many Mexican brewers do, we add a small portion of flaked maize. The result is a wonderfully bready malt aroma, balanced with some maize sweetness and a noble hop finish.

12oz bottle shared with Khan. Thanks buddy. Pours a very dark brown with minimal head. Aroma of metal and toasty grains. Taste is about the same. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I’d probably pick this up again.

Received in trade from GPHarris, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a deep reddish brown with a smallish tightly bubbled khaki head that quickly dissipates to a ring on top. Smells of caramel, brown bread, applesauce, brown sugar. There’s more in the nose than I was expecting. Taste is light and sweet malts with a hint of tart and astringency. Watered down brown sugar water with hints of fruit and bread kind sums up this experience. Thinnish body medium to high level of carbonation, watery prickly mouthfeel. This smelled a whole lot better than it tasted. Average beer at best.

Bottle. Pours a medium/dark brown with little head. Aromas light chocolate, raisin and prune with a little bit of a leathery edge to them. Flavor is the same, but a little unpolished around the edges with booze sticking out and such.

12oz bottle pours a light brown with a thin, off white head. Smells like feet and wet malts. Taste is flabby, wet malt, light caramel, watery finish. Gross. Not well crafted.

Bottle. This was an odd one, decent caramel color, but nothing but a hint of caramel in the aroma and the flavor.
