Fra kran på Olympen, Oslo 18 Okt 11. Lys gylden. Uklar. Medium skum som legger seg. Svak surøl-aroma. Minner om syrlige plommer. Smaken starter i samme gate men mildner. Går over i en tørr fruktig ettersmak som varer. Innslag av syrlighet igjen.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head that dissapates fairly quickly. Aroma is banana, descent lacing, medium body, and low carbonation. Taste is malty banana, some lemon, and a hint of clove peaking out. More malty than her sister Hop Sun. Good summer time beer.

Tap @ Olympen, Oslo. This one pours a hazy pale yellow-golden body with a nice medium sized light fluffy white head leaving heavy lacing down the glass. The aroma is definitely not to wheaty, more earthy and soapy with notes of perhaps some sour fruits? Not to pleasant.. Average to lively carbonation, medium-bodied and the mouthfeel is light oily. More wheat in the flavor, but also some kinda strange licorice hints that's pulling me a bit out of my comfort zone. More earthy and light herbal tones and it ends mildly burned and peppery spiced. Yeah, quite different from what I was expecting, but to be quite honest I don't really remember what I was expecting anymore.

Sampled at brewgrass 2011. Pours yellow. Tastes of wheat, bready, orange peel, black pepper, and slight pine. Nothing special but sessionable if your into that, which I’m not

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy yellow with a small bit of white head. Not much here for aroma. Slight smell of wheat and a very very slight citrus aroma. Taste is lightly sweet. Has a slight taste of lemonade and orange. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not very good. Not something I would drink again.

Lemongrass and canned peas smell. Cloudy yellow, thin head. Coriander flavor, but also with cabbage and canned peas. Swing and a miss for Southern Tier.

Pours a flat, stagnant gold, with a token thin film of bubbles on top. Smells a lot like a pilsner with a few corn niblets thrown in. Not off to a good start. The taste is very, very light, bordering on watered-down, starting semisweet with a mild hefe slant before drying out to the point of flavorlessness. The feel possesses more carbonation than the looks let on, but it doesn’t help. This brew makes for a terrible seasonal. (4/24/09)

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Drunk in Vondelpark. Poured a burnt orange colour with a slight haze and a small white head. Nose had some citrus wheat and hop notes. A similar yarn unfolded in the taste. All seemed a bit understated with no aspect really punching its weight. Vague bitterness towards the finish. Teetering on the precipice of blandness, but decent enough drinkin’ in the sunshine.
