A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a thick off white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Flavors follow suit with a sweetness to it. Quite nice.

Post-Yonah BSP run. The pour is dark orange, with a medium, tan head. Strong citrus nose, with some distinct floral hops, black pepper, and honey notes. This is a very bitter beer, but with a good malt backbone, resulting in a smooth and delicious flavor, with a bitter and spicy finish. The palate is heavy, grainy, and fairly carbonated. Overall, this is a stellar IIPA. The aroma is deep, and the flavor is smooth and pleasant.

On tap at the monaca bocktwon. Big hoppy aroma. Sweet pine or spruce taste. Yes, taste is big bitter hting. No co2 at all. There is a sloght burning sensation on the tongue. Going down the hatch I think I’m getting a a little dizzy, wew. Finish is mouth coating soapy handsoap. not for the fainthearted lager lover, fer sure.

An orange amber DIPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth vinous malt with fragrant floral hops, treacle, classy. In mouth, a smooth biscuit caramel malt with toffee, floral hops, piney notes, grassy and pungent, very nice.

Deep robust caramel coloured body with a very clear glow and a thinnish slightly off-white head. Super pungent piney and resiny hop notes at first with a lot of malt and even more alcohol present. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty and toffee flavours at first with a lot of hops noticeable, predominately overtaking the balance and showing a resiny finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of sweetness, some good malt, but the hops are the story with a ton showing and bittering the palate - all while the alcohol goes to work. Overall, a nice beer and definitely worth trying if you like Imperial IPAs - I’ll stick with the original here. I sampled this beer purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan!

Pours a darkish, brown-yellow color with small, long-lasting head. Aroma is a bit muted--hops and floral odors abound, but don’t prepare one for the big flavor. Very smooth, almost sweet, with strong hop presence and nice combination of citrus notes. Full, oily mouthfeel with nice, sweetish finish. Very nice.
