Draft - Sweet bready mead. Clear gold. Lots of bready notes, honey and vanilla. Not sure I get the boysenberry.

On tap @ Redstone. Pours a pink tinged, light yellow appearance with a light bubbly head. Light berry, vanilla, mild apple, spritzy aroma. A bit tangy, dark berry, sweet honey flavor. Pretty good. Easy to drink.

Sample at the Mead Molehill tasting on 01/10/2011. Clear amber color with no real head or lacing apparent. Aroma of blackberries and honey. Medium body with a sweet honey and tart berry flavor that seems a little disjointed. The finish is fruity and short. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle, 75cl, blue. A clear, light pinkish mead with some white bubbles on top. Yeasty, papery nose with fruityness and sweetness. Some honey. Yeasty, papery nose with a little honey, as well as fruityness and signals of sweetness to come. Fruity and sweet flavor with a little papery hint. Medium body, dry. A decent mead, nothing more. 091024

Bottle. Another carbonated mead from Redstone. Pours with a white head that falls over a pale ruby-red (think dark, dark Rose) body. No legs. Aroma of honey, and light tangy berry notes. What strikes the tongue first is the carbonation. Lively bubbles. Taste is sweet with berry and honey. Pretty basic with little depth. Highly carbonated and an oddly dry finish for a mead.
