Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has lemons, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at yesprs - Orange pour with white head. Sweet fruity and malty with tropical notes of grapefruit and tangerine, peach, some pine needles, sweet caramel malty backing, hoppy bitter finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is pine and grapefruity. Sweet, bitter, fruity and solid hoppy. Dry. Slight herbal. Bitter and solid hops fruity. Mild herbal and solid hoppy finish.

Hazy copper colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have lots of bittersweet sticky syrupy hop.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has sweet caramel and hints of tropical fruit, taste has mango, smooth malts, pine hints, ok.

Uiltje has been tweaking a lot of their - meanwhile - classic recipes lately and this new DIPA is apparently derived from the already great Schreeuwuil. Tap at Beerlovers’ Bar during their tap takeover. Very thick and frothy, dense, moussy, egg-white, stable head, hazy orangey golden robe. Very dank aroma of moldy old lemons, old ’hop urine’ even, mango juice, sweet onions, garlic oil, green olive, marihuana, pine resin, green kiwi, withering dill, fermenting pineapple. Fruity onset, pineapple, dried mango and kiwi impressions, oily and thick mouthfeel, softish carbo fit for the style; smooth, bit bready malt middle working towards a very aromatic hoppy finish, very dank, a bit piney and grapefruity with ’tropical’ edges, bittering but not too harshly so and matching with a warming, gin-like alcohol in the tail. Very rich and top notch DIPA but the dankness is a bit much here for me, smells as if old hops have sneaked into the mix, with a urine-like effect that is not really my cup of tea - but considering its daringness, richness and technical qualities, I cannot but grant it a high score nonetheless.
