Bottle. Aroma is a surprising amount of smoke and bacon, light chocolate, wood. Full body. Flavour is sweet, smokey and malty. Lots of peat and smoke, wasn't expecting that, quite a bit of bacon smoke here too. Interesting BA, feels more like an Islay BA but great.

Bottle at home, 8th January 2022, bought this in Amsterdam a while back, it’s black. Vinous and peat in the nose, taste is vinous, berries, light tart, barrel, lots of wood, dark chocolate, light and very complex barrel. Age and leave this for 4 years. Either you have a higher professional education degree or you have this after 4 years. Both will make you happy, and I’m my case I only have this.

Tap @ Uiltje Bar. Almost black. Smoky aroma with caramel, vanilla and bourbon. Smoke, vanilla. roast and a hint of bourbon in the caramelly flavor. The smoke and the bourbon somehow don’t go together well. Tasted next to the ’regular’ version it tastes much softer. Full bodied. Nice. 7 4 8 3 13 Bottle. Almost black. Roast, smoke vanilla and chocolate in the aroma. Full bodied, boozy. Whisky, smoke, dark chocolate and vanilla in the flavor. Malty sweetish with a dry finish. Red frut. Lovely and (now) well balanced.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Uiltje Sgt. Night Vision Bourbon BA ].Dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, bourbon, alcohol, caramel, chocolate - dark malt, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, bourbon, wood, dark malt, sweet, caramel, roasted - dark chocolate, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170924] 7-4-7-4-15

Tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Black pour with a frothy irregular brownish cap (retention and drafts). Nose is pretty much covered by a woody vanilla aroma, it smells like a vanilla ice cream. Mouth: well hidden abv, roast is far too low although not bad, sweet esile body in a way, it feels like a light bourbon sip.
