Bottle at Chriso pre-GBBF tasting 09. Very sour. Lovely fruit. Really good fruit, lovely cherry. Bit of funk. Lovely sour fruit, have I said that already? Lacks a little structure but one of the better American sours.

Growler shared at the RBSG’09 Grand Tasting. It has a reddish clear copper color. Aroma is light cherry cough cyrup with a metallic aceto character. Weird but not totally bad. Flavor is more clean on the cherry aspect with a woodsy, earthy, cherry pit sour. Has a long lasting tart/light sour finish. Cool stuff.

(10/29/08) Draught sample at the brewery in Stockton (thanks a lot Steve and Mike!). Deep reddish amber color. Aroma of cherries, barnyard and light citric notes. Sour flavor with nice brett, sour cherries, sweaty notes, tart pomegranate notes, and light astringency and a bit of lemon in the finish. Wonderful.
