Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange-golden color with a huge yellow-white head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was musty, yeasty and lemony. The flavor was tart, citric and musty with a hint of pepper. Dry spicy finish. Medium body. Eh.

Bottle. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy aroma with some grainy hints and some weak hints of citrus. Sweetish malty spicy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Bottle at Chriso pre-GBBF tasting 09. Hazy pale gold, some floaters. Lasting white head. Spicy aroma. Just too spicy, lemon wheaty. It’s horrible.

Bottled. The label looks dangerous - the beer in the glass also - unclear yellow with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of ginger and fruit as well as light notes of citrus and wheat. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of ginger, lemongrass, citrus, wheat, and malt, leading to a bitter and dry wheaty finish where the note of ginger lingers. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Hazy blond color. Herbal aroma, rosemary and heather; this is not a good start. Dry mouthfeel, poor flavor, lightly medicinal, soapy. Forget… forget… forgotten!
