2018-03-21, bottle from Hops & Vine, Burnaby
Hazy light amber color, bright. Mild aroma of malt and resiny hop. Lean mouthfeel, light residual sweetness, touch of caramel and biscuity malts, very drinkable; the bitterness is ok, there is some hop resin, lingering fruitiness, but not enough hop quality.
Purchased just days ago, I suspect that this bottle is not fresh enough. But it’s still a good drink, and it was probably a pretty good IIPA when fresh.
