Cask at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy dark amber color with reddish shades, and small creamy head. The aroma is mild, there is some fruit, sweat, maybe kumquat, hop, light bran. Smooth, undercarbonated; the malt is well present, with moderate residual sweetness, strong bitterness, resins (this is the Amarillo) and an earthy feeling.
Overall a good beer, not clean though, and with an shade of old.
