0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', bottled in November 2017, cellared for over a year. A little hazy, golden amber with a thin, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish-fruity, fairly funky aroma of lemon, rhubarb, horse blanket, some oak and a touch of leather. Minimally sweet, quite sour, rather fruity and fairly funky taste of lemon, rhubarb, horse blanket, oak, some gooseberry and hints of leather, followed by a medium long, rather tart, woody-dry and funky finish. Medium body, quite astringent, spritzy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Extremely refreshing and fruity Gueuze, quite sour but not too much so, good!

Sample from bottle, MBCC 2019, green session. Clear golden colour, no head. Tart fruity aroma with lemons, vinegar and wooden notes. Taste is sour. Tart, fruity finish. Dry. Nice.

Dorada, espuma blanca con poca retención. Aroma avinagrado con notas a madera. Sabor acético, notas a levadura , algo a manzana. Final frutal con acidez moderada.

Asparagusdinner. Main dish. Also first time I try this pure geuze, have completely missed it was released. Very nice for a young geuze, plenty of citrus, balanced acidity and just enough funk to make it interesting.

Bottle at home. Clear orangey golden with no head. Sour grain, hay, old floorboards, wet floormop, fruity, funky, parmesan, metallic, flint. Dense. Moderate sweet, bitter and soft medium sour. Medium body and no carbonation.

37,5cl bottle (bottled 20/11/2017) from Prik&Tik Kampenhout. F: medium, egg-white, average retention. C: shiny deep gold, light hazy. A: woody, fruity, grapes, bit green apples, barnyard, lemon peels, T: woody, barnyard, bit sour fruity puckering, bit lemon, grapes, unripe green kiwi, very refreshing, medium body and carbonation, great balanced for the style, fully enjoyed.

Bottle 750ml. @ MBCC'18 [ Green Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As Oud Beersel Oude Geuze Barrel Selection Oude Pijpen ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy yeasty, barmyard, leather, funky, oak, grapes - wine - citrus - lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, dry, oak, grapes, apple, citrus, barnyard - funk. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Rather clear blond colour, white creamy foam. Nose of citrus, funk, barnyard, peach. Taste is tart, lemony, notes of rhubarb. Very interesting and delicious gueuze.

Intense funk and some petroleum. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sour funk and some nice grains. Solid sour and quite aggressive for Beersel. Nice.
