Bottle - Vintage 2009 - Chocolate, caramel, spices and nutty. Jet maroon and a thin brown head. Tastes just like it smells, which is a blessing. If you can find an old bottle go get one.

Roast coffee taste with a small hint of tree bark. There’s a bit of a sour aftertaste. Good thick palate, light carb.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a brown body and a small white head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate. Exaggeratedly strong coffee. Oak-y. Some earthy or spicy quality to it. Taste is coffee, nutty and ashy. Light bubbles.

341 ml Bottle from Harry! Thanks! Nose of rich chocolate, chocolate, more chocolate, and very faint spices; black with lightly hazy brown edges and a medium cinnamon colored head; flavor is chocolate, some hoppy bitterness, some roastiness, and a bit of cinnamon showing later just before the bitter finish kicks in. Pretty good porter! This is one I think Degarth would like!

Was getting kinda drunk by this beer, but... Dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of toasted molasses, slight wheat, smoke, and alcohol. Flavor was roasted malt, coffee, smoke, cinnamon, chocolate, and some spice. Finish has some of the cinnamon hotness. Well blended and complex. Has a great flavor. Enjoyable.

Shortlived beige head over ebony beer. Rich black chocolate and wood nose, slightly sweet. A bit of tobacco as well, very roasted. Very dry wood flavour, plywood, touches of coffee and bitter chocolate. Ever so slight malty sweetness, tucked away under the dry bitterish roast. Ends on a sweeter note, hazelnut-like. Quite slick, medium bodied at best. Quite decent porter, txs to Stephen. I could not identify the cinnamon.
