Cask conditioned, velvety smooth texture brewed with roasted and flaked barley with a creamy chocolate espresso taste. Bittered with North Down hops for a rich flavour and finished with the spicy aroma of Styrian Goldings.

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 6 Aug 2009) Dark brown colour with brief head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee and dark bread. Solid coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Possibly a touch drier and hoppier than their O’Haras Celtic Stout. Nice and well balanced stout.
