Unsere fränkische Heimat gilt als Hochburg der Kellerbiere. In dieser Tradition lassen wir unser Kellerbier wie in der guten alten Zeit brauen. Durch Verzicht auf Filtration sorgen die trübenden Bestandteile der Hefe nach langer, kalter Kellerreifung für den vollmundigen, samtig-weichen und leicht würzigen Geschmack.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy "dirty"-amber coloured; almost chocolatey aroma, mainly dark-malty with a touch of hoppiness; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; malty, sweetish and mild bitter flavour. A decent Kellerbier......

(swing top bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with an almost non-existing off-white(?) head. Sweet toasted malt aroma with caramel. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour; medium to light bodied with a very soft carbonation. Toast-malty taste with caramel and shy hoppy notes in the background; medium-dry, light-bitter finish with a caramel aftertaste. Disappointing.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a touch of smoke.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Schinner Premium Kellerbier Bernstein" - nothing Altfranken here. Pours a beautiful, clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Vaguely smoked nose. Medium body with roasted, malty accents. Some caramel and a whiff of smoke. Discreet, bitter finish. Quite interesting really. 150306

Bottle. Malty, sourish aroma. Some berries and hay. Hazy brown colour with a little red. Flavour is also malty and sour. Liquorice aftertaste. Mild carbonation.

Dark amber color; generous head. The aroma is a mix of caramel and cereals; it reminds me of some chocolate drinks. The flavor is a bit more refined, with quite good caramel flavor, some chocolate, light cereals; the bitterness from the hops is rather low, there is some from the dark malts. Pleasant.
