Draught at the brewpub, Clybourn location
Cloudy brown color. Malty aroma and caramel. Strong body, with a lot of caramel and malt flavor, sweet toffee too, warming feeling; and to balance this, a very strong hopping, that leads to a mellow toffee final, very powerful Strong American Ale, excellent.
Not as intriguing as the Matilda, not as interesting as the Père Jacques, but overwhelming.
