Sampled as 'Czig Meister Caldera' (with the same fish on the front of my can as what is in the picture here on RB) Super hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall tan and light beige head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, orange, mangoes, light bitter grassy hops some biscuity malt and a touch of alcohol and bread at the end. Medium-bodied; Rich citrusey flavour of oranges, grapefruit and resin with a dash of grass and dry hay qualities with a little alcohol and astringent medicinal notes at the end, which gives this some warmth and pungency, but all ends well with some sweetness from all the citrus and fruits. Aftertaste shows a great balance with a supportive malt and pungent, but not-too-strong hop bite, with citrus, pine and resin all showing the alpha acids at the end. Overall, a very nice, fairly easy-drinking New England IPA that has a smooth profile, but a nice complexity and less body than others in the style, but not a reduction in pungency. Nice to try and good for the style! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-December-2019 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Washington on 25-March-2020.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy Amber gold color. Small firm frothy white head. Perfumy citrus hop nose. Pine, grapefruit, pineapple, rose petals and blueberry. Toasted malt flavor upfront does not match the aroma. Dank , bitter grapefruit with green onion notes. Thin bodied. Slight peppery hop finish.
