0.5l bottle, courtesy of F&L. Well, last time I've had it it was purchased on the same trip when I passed through this part of Bavaria last, 16.5 years ago. Crystal clear golden body, white head. Sweetish, somewhat grainy aroma. Lean, dry taste, quite empty, watery, enormously clean maltiness, maybe just lightly honeyish, vague citric touch again. Hah, guessing the recipe didn't change but my palate and understanding of the style did.

0.5l bottle, shared with ogivlado who purchased in some store en route to Plzen (thanks!). Poured a pale golden colour with a medium sized thick white head that took its time to go away. A salty, hoppy nose, some malt too. Fine honeyish malty taste, lightly acidic herbal-lemony hop. Fine and balanced. I’m with pivnizub on this one, this is a fine, quality helles and kinda deserves the "Edel". 6/6/6/4/7

Rerat, bottle on the top of the Brotjacklriegl after a wintery hike with Fin&Loz. Grainy, herbal and grassy finish, refreshing,
Bottle. Spicy, grainy nose. Golden, low head. Grainy, light rubbery notes. Light body, flatish, a bit boring and bland.
