This is absolutely THE BEST Imperial Stout we've ever brewed. Kudos to Zachary Lucas and CJ Tomich for bringing this beer to life. At 10.2% you'd expect either cloying sweetness or a big boozy finish. This has neither and is perfectly balanced throughout.
The mash consisted of a mix of Golden Promise, Munich, Carafa III, Flaked Barley, Roasted Barley, Crystal Malt and a touch of Chocolate Wheat. We then rested the beer on a mix of cacao, coconut cream and toasted coconut for a delectable treat.

Solid imperial stout. Burnt toast and caramel and some meaty character. A bit oxidized, but it helped some complexity. Toast and roast and some char. Finishes full bodied and mostly dry. 7 4 7 4 14

Solid imperial stout. Big roast and some smoke. Light caramel and some coffee, old leather. Black pour without much head. Bitter ass finish. Coconut and chocolate are light. Nice stuff. Can at brewery.
