Bottle. Poured a pitch black color, like smooth oil. Small tan head. Aroma is coffee, toffee, licorice, bakers chocolate. Flavor is coffee, vanilla. Dark chocolate. Big roast. Coffee, peat. Is this the poop coffee? It's been a while so I've forgotten if this series uses that.

Sample, BOTTLE 50 CL. Vintage 2009. Pitch black, dark espresso head. Spicy roasty aroma, some iodine, rubber, no coffee. Dry roasty taste, marginal dark treacle, dried fruit, spicy iodine finish. Nice în its weirdness, lots of charred wood. 8 years and still interesting.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Pitch black with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and some hazelnut, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

500 ml at home. Thank you very much Alex (Nightfall)!! Pitch black color with nice brown head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, licorice, cocoa, chocolate, light dark fruits, dried fruits, wood, smoked notes, whiskey, alcohol. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter taste like aroma. Full silky creamy body with soft carbonation.

Black colour, tan head. Aroma of coffee, whisky and caramel. Bitter flavour, coffee, roasted malts, soy sauce. Bitter finish, coffee, cacao, caramel.
