Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown color with a thin cap of a little off white foamy head, once dissipated no lace
Aroma: dark malts, earthy whiffs, toasted nuts, clean grassy hints, subtle funk, light lemon pith
Flavor: blends those prior mentioned aromas to a smooth sweet to earthy and subtle zestiness; quick aftertaste of earthy and bready character
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness along the tongue, finishes earthy and funky
Overall: love me a good dark saison and this one does not disappoint.

$2.90 can, WW. Brown with a giant beige head. Nose is brown leaf, hints of citrus (lemon? lime?), caramel. Caramel, bread crust, cocoa, hints of citrus, tiniest hint of funk, plum? Seems right up my alley, but not loving it for whatever reason.

Tobacco and lime. Some rye bread. Brown pour with great head and lacing. Smooth drinking dark table beer. Kind of nearly like a dubbel with less florals. Light plum. Light tangy finish. Can.
