Barrel-aged version of our English Porter based on a London Porter recipe from the 1800’s. Incredibly smooth with a very restrained roastiness when compared to modern Porters. All roasted character & dark color come from brown & crystal/caramel malt rather than roasted barley or black/chocolate malt.

57% - Porter aged in Wheated Bourbon barrels for 11 months
28% - Porter aged in Smoked Whiskey barrels for 11 months
15% - Porter aged in Jamaican Rum barrels for 11 months

Lots of whiskey barrel here. Black pour with mocha head. Caramel, some tangerine. A little coffee. Black pour with decent head. Boozy whisky tang finish with some bitterness. Remember the non barrel aged version being better. Tap at brewery.
