Imperial breakfast stout made qualia coffee and chocolate. Drinks with notes of rich molasses, coffee bean, milk chocolate and a soft doughy mouthfeel

Deep brown black, not quite opaque, off white head. Nose has dark malt and candy sugar. Some coffee and some maple. Maple comes through more in the flavor, but also a big birch kind of feel. Almost belgiany in a way too. High alcohol feel. Feels a bit unbalanced for them. 6 4 6 3 12

Roast, caramel, coffee. Chocolate. Black pour without much head. Not too sweet, more on the roasty and bitter side, which is great for me. Not even sure if there are adjuncts here other than coffee. Bitter and slightly sweet finish. The only real regret here is the lack of the literary allusion. Tap at brewery.
