Adnams Explorer captures the spirit of discovery by blending Chinook and Columbus hops with the New World. The citrus attack will burst on your palate. Fantastic served chilled and the fruity hoppiness of the beer means that it goes well with cleanly flavoured foods.

Cask at the George, London. Clear yellow on the pou with a light, white film. Pleasant nose of citrus, grapefruit and straw. Nice flavor, with light toasty hay, grass and citrus bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild bitter finish, more citrus and grass on the tongue. Pretty good beer.

(Cask at Junction Tavern, London) Very pale for a bitter. Also the beer was quite fruity. The most pleasant thing was the citricness in the aroma. The flavour wasn’t really at the same level. So, the little lack of balance was decrementing the score I gave.
