Bottle 50cl.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, virtually none, virtually none lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, hay, light oxidid. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is grass, nectar, some sweet wood and mild notes of freshly cut wood as well. Flavour is freshly cut wood, grass, some nectary notes as well as flowery hops and some earthy notes to it.

Mail order. Pale yellow with scant head. Light smoke at the finish, medium body and a bit of sweetness in the middle. Nice complexity.

275ml bottle. Deep brown body under a creamy, beige head. Slightly dry malty smell. Thin malty flavour with notes of hops behind. Light, foamy mouthfeel (Pembroke College, Oxford 16.03.2008).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Copper/mahogany colour, lovelly froth. Quite hoppy with hints of caramel. Solid malty background.

275ml bottle from Cask & Glass, Tonbridge. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Nice dusty hop aroma. Some caramel too. Quite good in mouth and then tingly hop finish with good citric hop. Given the previous reviews, I’m a bit in the middle I think. Hops are excellent even a touch gingery. But the body needs a touch more. I would be tempted to have it again.
