Half pint, cask in fine shape at The Castle, Holborn. Dark amber content. Naked surface. Inviting smell of dried fruits. Caramel malts in flavour mixed with leafy hops. Modest bitter finish. The smell promised a bit more than the flavoured could hold. Soft carbonated (London, 03.08.2009).

Cask handpull at Wheatsheaf (new), London, Copper, thin off white head. Very fruity and then this grassy dryness, quite a combitnation so fast in the mouth. Malty aroma, fullish fruit salad in mouth. Some hop on finish.
