Cask@Old Fountain. Quite much black colour, beigeish brown head. Arojma is roasted malts, some mild dark dry hops as wwell as mild grassy notes. Flavour is quite muchh the same and ens in a rather wooden thing.

Cask at Ealing beer fest 2009. Deep brown beer with a slight beige head. Rich, sweet, dark fruits, chocolate. A well brewed stout from Hertford.

Cask handpull at the Old Fountain, Old Street. Very deep ruby/brown colour, lasting beige head. In spanking condition. Bit of powder, dry charcoal. Quite an intense dark beer stunning to be honest. Some damson jam fruit. It’s got choc and coffee, but they don’t dominate. I’d say it’s a fullish fruity slightly dry, stout. Excellent.
