On tap at Tap & Can, Shrewsbury. Pours almost black with minimal beige head. There’s oats and dried fruit in the aroma plus some hints of chocolate. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with bitter undertones. Flavour has honey, biscuit crunch and oats with traces of ginger, raisins and alcoholic strength coming later. This is decent enough but lacks a little something.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő barna hab, fekete szín. Aszalt szilvás, kávés, pörkölt malátás illat. Pirítós kenyeres, kávés, enyhén aszalt szilvás íz. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, erősen keserű, amit a pörkölés ad. Túl erős a pirítós kenyeresség.

Canned 330ml. -from Beerselection Budapest. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and light oaty nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, oaty and caramel with earthy touch in the finish.

0,33 can.Lord of the Rings from mad scientists. :) Filled like a stout should be. Beautiful blackish-brown (not brownish black) body, not transparent even when held up to the lamp... Yellowish, brownish thin head. Lactose aroma, mainly roasted malt, a little coffee, a little chocolate, a little earthy sting. Oily, full-bodied, weakly carbonated. It feels fuller than the 6% dry matter content. Fine, real "regular", classic stout. Dry, bitter, but with dried fruit and coffee in the aftertaste. Quite a respectable, fine, well-made beer! Especially in terms of price-performance ratio! Quality stout!

Gyűrűk ura sz őrült tudósoktól. :) Kitöltve olyan, amilyennek egy stout-nak lennie kell. Gyönyörű feketés-barna (nem barnás fekete) test, még a lámpa felé tartva sem átlátszó... Sárgás, barnás vékony hab. Laktózos illat, főként pörkölt maláta, kevés kávé, kis csoki, kis földes szúrós érzet. Olajos, testes, gyengén szénsavas. A 6%-nak megfelelő szárazanyag-tartalomnál testesebb érzetű. Finom, igazi "rendes", klasszikus stout. Száraz, keserű, de utóízben aszalt gyümölcsös is, kávés is. Elég tekintélyes, finom, jól sikerült sör! Árérték arányban pláne! Minőségi stout!
