Served from a bottle at the Thornbridge tasting at The Rake. Herby hop aroma, some intense syrupy malt. Victoria plums and other white stone fruits. Fruit flavours really come through, Melon. Wow. Stunning. Some Belgian tripel style crystallised fruit. Good, but not exceptional.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a sliightly hazy faded gold colour with a thin rimmed off white head. Aroma was super sweet m’lud, with notes of Mr Sheen, pine, nougat, booze and tangerine. Its a grower, yesiree get that up yer nasal pipes. Flavours unfolded organically with each passing sip. The 11% is certainly noticable, but this brew is crafted and balanced so well that everything comes together in proportion pretty seamlessly. My 600th Rate.

Bottle generously shared by PhilL at Bistro DIPA festival. Mild citrus aromas of tangerine and orange. Amber color with a huge off-white head. Very smooth fruity essences for flavor. A bit grapey. Wow. This is so unlike "normal" ale. Just excellent.
