Cask at the brewery
Brown color, hazy, with generous compact head. Aroma of caramel and malt, some roasted malt, a bit dusty, resiny hops. Smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation; strong caramel flavor with light residual sweetness; a bit dusty and ashy; strong bitterness with the expected piney hop resins.
A bit too ashy for my liking, but not too roasty, and well hopped.
