Bentos is an Imperial Stout aged with wood from rum barrels. Ancho & Pasilla peppers, cinnamon, vanilla and choco nibs have been blended and aged for more than 1,5 years into this impressive brew.

Bottle at ash's. Pours black, nose is, toffee, woody, vanilla, liquorice, spice, taste is sweet toffee, liquorice, salty, spicy chilli, chocolate, rum. 8

Bottle thanks to McCash. Pours oily black with a purple edge. No real head. Aromas of tar and tinned prune. Taste is chocolate and chilli, salty. Texture is really thick. Odd.

Appearance - opaque black and not much head.
Nose - liquorice, toffee and molasses with something herbal.
Taste - smoke, salt and chilli with chewy chocolate and molasses.
Palate - full bodied, smoky, very savoury and a dry finish.
