Dieses Bier besticht durch eine feine Balance zwischen Süße und Bittere. Gerstenmalz aus regionalem Anbau und Wasser aus eigenem Tiefbrunnen verleihen dem Braustüb’l Hellem seinen typischen Charakter.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 21.02.2013
Aroma is slightly stale with butter and hints of hay. Flavour has butter, some unpleasant grainy and hay notes. Finishes with grassy hops and some mint. Drinkable.

Bottled@OPP, Helsinki. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is bready, grainy and some dry papery notes. Flavour is grains, hay and some grassy notes. .Quite pils like Helles. Lacks some of the pils maltyness though.

Draught at the Braustüb’l of the brewery
Blond color. It has a very similar malt profile as the Zwickel, that is, light malt and cereals aroma and flavor, with low bitterness, a bit sweet and missing a better hop bite. The body is just a tad less round than the Zwickel. Pleasant but easy.

Clear golden with a tiny off white head. Grainy aroma with hints of malt and cardboard. Flavour had cardboard, malt and grassy hops that gave it a dry and bitter finish.

A golden laget with a thin lacing white head. More hoppy in aroma than the pils, with fresh grainy malt. Light in mouth, with crisp malt, less hoppy, a bit thin. OK. On tap at the brewery, Oct. 19 2007.
