Test vom 15.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,6,6,5,8,6 - 6,05

Flip-top bottle:Golden coloured, medium-sized head, sticking to the glass; sweetish-worty-bready nose combined with hoppy spots; sweetish (bready)-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering bitter-malty finish. A hearty, tasty Helles.........

(swing top bottle) Clear golden colour with a short foamy white head. Quite shy aroma of sweet, strawy malt with a light grassy hoppy blend. Medium-sweet flavour, balanced malty and hoppy taste, medium to light bodied, crispy mouthfeel; strawy and malty, slight bitter, light-hoppy finish. Drinkable but not exciting.

(Bottle 50 cl) Quite fully golden beer but hazy. Strangely enough, because I don’t believe it’s the intent. Nice head. Typical "Helles", soft and sweet lager-type without distinct bitterness. 171003

Rerate from Can. Cant gauge the looks. Spicy grain base, a hint caramel, medium to full slightly sticky body, mellow fizz, light leather and wood notes, graasy herbal hop counterpoint.
Old Rating:6 7 6 4 4 Grassy nose. Pale golde, nice head, small pearling carbonation. Wellbalanced but thin. Weak watery body.
