Barrel Aged fruity Sour Ale. Historical blend of a rustical saison of which half is aged 6 months in oak barrels which contained wine. Remarkably komplex, dinstinguished through the wild yeasts’ actions. Refreshring, well-balanced between sour and bitter notes, as well as an intensiv fruitiness. The ideal and surprising compromise between wide aromtatic complexity and a refreshing easy drinking beer.

750ml bottle. Hazy, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Complex, fruity, floral, yeasty and slightly spicy aroma, notes of bubblegum and sherbet, yellow stone fruit, lemon zest, pollen, a vinous touch, hints of oak, peppery overtones; a bretty touch with "longdrop" notes throughout. Taste is slightly tart, citrusy fruity, spicy, yeasty, white pepper overtones, orange zest, peach peel, bretty bubblegum and piss interludes; cautious oaky and vinous hints in the finish, smooth, soft, though slightly prickling carbonation. Superb balance of a plethora of flavours.

BOTTLE 75 CL from CH-303. Vintage 2014. Hazy golden, off-white creamy head. A peppery classic saison aroma, with lots of bretty barnyard notes. The taste dry and spicy, moderately acid, lactic acidity and a nice hoppy bitter finish too. Very good.

Ölföreningen 2015. Smak och doft av citrus, gräs, hö, ladugård och kryddor. Syrlig, torr, fruktig, frisk, funkig. Fina välbalanserade smaker som rundas av med en god beska. Riktigt gott!

750ml bottle, thx Euphemos! Deep amber, thin white head. Fruity, barnyard, apples, tartness. Aroma is amazing. Flavor has barnyard, apples, mild sweetness, marmalade. Awesome stuff.

Flaska från Saveur-bier, drucken med ölföreningen. I mitt tycke en närmast perfekt saison. Frisk, lätt mjölk- och vetesyrlig, funkig, lätt kryddig med ett uns nejlika. Bra balans och mycket karaktär. Riktigt gott.

En fût au Saint-Bock. Couleur jaune voilée, mousse blanc cassé crémeuse. Arôme de levure, céréales, malt. Goût d’alcool, fruité, légère acidité. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Sample at KurtKeller 021: Pappy-tastic 01 on 03/06/2015. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, oak and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of zesty citrus, herbal yeast, oak and malt. The finish is oaky and fruity with a grassy yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle on the Brew Bus during the RBWG 2015 bus tour. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, funk. Tastes of floral, funk, citrus peel. Medium body with a dry finish.
