Barrel Aged fruity Sour Ale. Historical blend of a rustical saison of which half is aged 6 months in oak barrels which contained wine. Remarkably komplex, dinstinguished through the wild yeasts’ actions. Refreshring, well-balanced between sour and bitter notes, as well as an intensiv fruitiness. The ideal and surprising compromise between wide aromtatic complexity and a refreshing easy drinking beer.

Draft. Musty floral lemon peel, wheat malt and hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large head. Light musty-dry lemon peel, perfume, and malt flavor. Mildly bitter dry grass finish.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. As "La Saison". 2014 bottle. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Lovely funky aroma with wood, some vinous character, fruitiness, floral touches and a bit of earth. Dry flavor, sourish, funky, a bit floral, fruity, with a bitterish, vinous and slightly spicy finish. Medium-bodied.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2014. Golden hazy citrus. White head. Nose is quite fun, very fruity, lots of berries, light funk. Taste is muted by yeast, thick yeast taste, lightly mineral, touch fruits, only faint funk in the back. Not bad but body & taste are too muted for me for it to excel. Body is thick yeast.

A hazed amber saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, superb mix of ground cherries, Brett, light fruity esters, very smooth and complex, light lemony notes in finale. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with lemon notes, light Brett, ground cherries, superb. On tap at St Bock.

Multiple bottles and taps. Nice hazy yellowish-orange color with big head. A bit of lemon, a bit of bread, a bit of funkiness in the aroma. Nice lemony-apple feeling, breadish taste, light body, lively carbonation. Dry. A very very solid Saison. 8-5-8-4-16Cask at Moeder Lambic. Lots of the usual pineapple-grapefruit-milk, the flat carbonation does not hurt here! An amazing beer. 8-5-8-5-17

Tap at Maxs. Unfiltered dull orange tan. Foamy, patchy, lacy head. Low carbonation, nice fruity sourness. Sour, juicy, lemon-tinged bubblegum notes. Pretty nice flavor, not unlike a Jolly Pumpkin at times. The mellow subdued carbonation isn’t really a bonus. Pretty nice beer, but not quite World Class.

hazy orange color, Smells fantastic lots of orange and honey and sweet brett. very sweet, loads of funky brett. really well blended, very approachable and super light. maybe too much bitterness at the finish but that would fade with time. this was a 12oz flip top bottle. I want more!
