Barrel Aged fruity Sour Ale. Historical blend of a rustical saison of which half is aged 6 months in oak barrels which contained wine. Remarkably komplex, dinstinguished through the wild yeasts’ actions. Refreshring, well-balanced between sour and bitter notes, as well as an intensiv fruitiness. The ideal and surprising compromise between wide aromtatic complexity and a refreshing easy drinking beer.

Mein erstes Schweizer Bier dieses Jahr. Auch dieses trinke ich in in einer obercoolen Hipsterbar, in der sich sommerliche Anzugträger auf ein einzelnes Afterwok-BIer treffen. Dieses Bier is ein Saison, das im EIchenfass gereift wurde. Es hat allerlei interessante fruchtige und malzige Aromen bis hin zum Pumpernickel und Sauerteig und dabei einige holzige Noten, was es etwas abstrus wirken lässt und es sehr kompliziert macht. Ein ungeüberter Bierfreund würde es eventuell als muffig entsorgen, aber auch der Aromenfreund fände es als zu unharmonisch.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of funk, dry yeast, oak and wheat. Taste has funky barnyard, dry yeast, wheat, mild brett and oak. Nice dry bretty saison.

Bottle shared @ Ølbutikken. Pours hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. Aromas of esters, some tart grapey notes, oak, citrus, lemon juice. Taste is tart, grapey, spicey, some citrus, lemon, stone fruits. Nice!

Tap at CBM Jinbocho. Aroma is creamy and funky. Taste is great and similar, cheesy, good stuff, bit tropical, lots of cheese. Characteristic BFM funkiness. I like it a lot.
