Bought in Reykjavik in 2013. Not as good as the version sold in Sweden, a bit unbalanced with spices

Bottle at 73, Reykjavik; bb 11.05.15 (I assume it’s this entry)
Brown color with small head. Immediate aroma of cassia, orange peel, then other old greasy spices, even a bit herbal. Dry mouthfeel; the caramel flavor is mild and boring; ordinary bitterness; mild touch from the spices, some roasted nuts.
This one reminds me too much of the Swedish Julöl, which is not a good thing; why would people like a boring dark beer with spices for Christmas?
