This is our 'winter' seasonal wheat beer, a Belgian-style Wit Bier brewed with the traditional additions of orange peel and coriander seed. True to style we used 50% wheat malt and the Classic Wit yeast strain from Escarpment Laboratories. We add a whirlpool hop addition of Citra for an extra orangey boost.
Look for a zesty citrus and nice herbal peppery aromas and flavours.

I love the flex of a brewery in Whitehorse releasing its witbier in December. Dull and hazy. Light coriander spice. Lowish bitterness. Decent wit, a bit yeastier and not as malty as I prefer.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear blonde gold with full white head. Citrusy with lots of coriander and wheat. Decent all around witbier.
