Tap at Festival der Bierkulturen. Hazy, opaque, brown colour with small, creamy, off-white head. Peaty and smoky aroma, notes of TCP, plaster etc. Taste is initially peaty, slightly smoky, penetrative TCP notes, later more and more harmonious and balanced with incoming malt sweetness, toffee, caramel, incorporating the hitherto predominant peat; full body, oily texture. Not bad in the end.
