Clear amber colour, tiny off-white head that disappears within seconds, no lacing. Sweet fruity aroma, caramel, candy sugar, toffee, cinnamon, alcohol. Taste medium sweet and bitter, plum, alcohol. Full body, slightly creamy texture, dry bitter roasted finish. All in all a disappointing beer colour and aroma make promises which are not fulfilled.

stond nog in de kast, en die moet toch een keer leeg. amber met schuimige witte kraag. aroma is fruitig, zoet (redelijk), zoet en iets van toffee. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, licht zuurtje, redelijk fruitig van rood fruit en iets van mandarijntjes, boterig, funky(boerenerf), medium body, glad van textuur, lage co2, en stevig alcoholisch

Botella de 33 cl en el Lupulo varias veces durante 2008 y 2009. Una de las favoritas del mundo belga. Cuerpo medio de color tostado turbio con bastante espuma blanca y persistente. Aromas algo tostados y dulces de caramelo y tofe con sabores contenidos y refinados dulces con toque algo tostado. Fácil de beber al no tener mucho cuerpo ni una densidad excesiva. Muy buena. Para repetir una vez más............. Botella 33 cl. Colección (r356 en 06..08..2016) tomada en junio 1998. Fcpref 27..04..2000 en chapa.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff des-13: en litt rar, såpeaktig aroma med en ubestemmelig (og noe lambicaktig) smak. En forsåvidt grei snack såpass sent på kvelden, men vi roper ikke hurra rundt bordet nå og ingen føler englesangen.

Ein weiterer alter Bekannter. Es ist ein Belgier, der wirklich gut zu trinken ist. Es ist alkohollasig und hat feine Fruchtnoten. Es ist sicher nicht einfach zu trinken, aber wenn an sich darauf einlässt, hat man sicher eine Freude daran.

Bottle, 9.5%. Dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits and a little dusty. Flavour is malt, yeast, caramel, medium sweet. dusty, dark fruits, toasted with notes of phenols.

Hazy, dark orange colour. Bready, yeasty aroma. Flavour is also yeasty with bittersweet orange. Has a rich, warming feel. Is a bit sticky.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden to light-amber colour with a mid-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Nutty cara-malty aroma with notes of dried fruits and shades of alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Sugary cara-malty aroma with notes of candied almonds and fruits, accompanied by secondary aromas of nuts and a vaguely vinous touch; slightly sugary sweet malty finish with subtle vinous fruity notes and a well-masked alcoholic strength. 08.VI.12
