A - Small head fades so fast you barely see it. SRM of 12. Dark golden orange.
S - Caramel malts and horse blanket. Mangoes and fresh salad. Very grassy smell
T - earthy and bright. Overly sweet and full of orange zest. funky and full of banana
M - 60/40. Light. Saison funky finish.
O - 79/100. Great. Overly carbonated. Very yeasty and too sweet.

Bottle.Clear amber colour with white head.Aroma is frutiy with nice warming mouthfeels,lively with hint of caramel and dried fruits,good well balanced and fresh finish.

Brown 33cl bottle, best before 11/2008, drank 07/2007, my bottle says 9.50%. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru tulip glass. Good light amber, come pale brown, it looks fine, a half inch off-white head sits on top. Toffee esters hit my nose from the bottle before I poured the beer, it wasn’t so strong once the beer was in the glass. You can smell the alcohol, it is hidden in the woody aroma, but it is there for sure. If you can get past the alcohol kick the flavours of caramel and toffee come into play, some spice in there too, but can’t tell which ones. Despite the high alcohol content this is a well balanced and well made beer. A little sweet, but overall, a very good beer.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, 4 Oct 2011) Amber colour with firm, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and orange peel. A bit restrained. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, hints of brown sugar and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. There’s more coming through here than in the aroma. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Solid and tasty. Nice one.

This brewery keeps pleasantly surprising me. Clear copper red beer, off-white aery head, reduces fast to a small layer of foam. Aroma: caramel, alcohol, raisins, even chocolate on warming up. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: caramel, fruity, some citrus, raisings, little toasted malts, candi sugar. Aftertaste: more caramel, chocolate and a little acidity.

Bottle from Asao. Medium amber color, fine head. Fruity, malty aroma, grapes and apples, with alcohol fumes. Sweet, grapey flavor, hot alcohol. Candy-like, with a bit of strange veggies. Little to redeem this one.
