Son arôme doux et velouté nous conduit vers une saveur agréablement houblonnée et boisée.

Elle libère en fond de bouche un goût très fin amer voire fumé et alcoolisé.

Bottle courtesy of Fonefan: Poured a hazy deep amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention but no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some bready yeast notes. Taste is mix between some sweet Belgian malt with some notes of flight fruit (peach) and a bready finish. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Nothing spectacular but very drinkable and refreshing.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is citrusfruits along with toffee and some sweet sugary notes. Flavour is caramel malty, hoppy, toffeish with underlying notes of metallicness. Alcohol also gives a big sting in the flavour.

Bottle from Bottle Barn. Slightly dusty aroma of sweet caramel and a bit of overly ripe stone fruit. Hazy, lush ripe apricot flesh color with a white head that left lace tattters. Thin to medium bodied with slightly fizzy carbonation. The flavor is caramel/toffee, some alcohol, biscuit and a mix of ripe, light stone fruits with a possible bit of citrus or floral. The finish is actually a bit dry, and seems a little woody. Could be light floral bitter, could be wood. Quite excellent. Seems underrated. --- Beer merged from original tick of Silly La Divine Belgian Double Blond Ale on 10 Jun 2007 at 21:14 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Bottle. Interesting aromas of yeast and sweet fruits. Hazy orange tinged golden color with a white head that filmed, leaving some very thin lace. Medium bodied. Some metallic. This passes with a little repetition, and there are light fruity esters and some light sour to accompany sweet malt. The finish is lightly bitter, and there is light yeast present. Not really a dry finish, but sort of thin sticky sweet. Finally alcohol warming occurs in the upper chest.

Bottle. An orange, clear-looking beer with a beige head. Malty, sweet and fruity nose and flavor, with some spices as well in the flavor. Medium to full body and a very metallic finish. Still it is a very good beer. (070413)

Amber color and almost no head. Very light malt aroma. Finish starts sweet, but there is a metal-blood aftertaste. This is a bad beer.
