Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
