Als einzig obergäriges Bier hat unser Weizen seinen festen Platz im Grohe Sortiment gefunden. Es ist naturbelassen trüb, fruchtig im Geschmack und verfügt über nelkenartige Würze. Die ausgeprägte Kohlensäure macht es zu einem spritzigen Wegbegleiter.

Bottle at home, 22nd October 23. Pours fairly clear orange and a big white head. Aroma is yeast, spice and banana, taste is aromatic, bitter, bananas and light spice. Lovely

Bottle from Raynville or HoTM. It pours lightly hazy deep golden - blonde white a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, soft, mellow sweetness, green fresh, banana split, toasty brown sugars, touch of clove rock, cola cubes and a touch of ginger bread. The taste is smooth upfront, bitter - sweet, warming spice, cola cubes, clove, wheat bread, sponge cake, green banana, slightly chalky, banana bread and has a touch of sharpness to it with a soft, green banana finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rounded and flavourful. Nice one.

Eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig mit reifer Banane, etwas Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

EIn Weizenbier, das sich durch seine Fruchtigkeit auszeichnet, aber sonst irgendwie flach wirkt. Erst mal zum positivem: Es hat tolle Aromen nach Birne, Erdbeere und natürlich Banane und Papaya und das ist auch noch schön ausbalanciert. Leider lässt dieser Geschmackseindruck schnell nach und es übernimmt zum Abgang hin ein flaches, leicht pilziges Aroma. Das Bier ist nicht schlecht, aber da kenne ich bessere.
