Bottle from Beerdome. Very dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dried fruit and port. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Soft. 120126

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma cremosa color marrone castagno che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il colore del liquido è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona e persistente. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali inducono a bevuta compulsiva per una ottima birra. Il retrogusto è intenso e persistente. Sul palato si attestano sentori di zuccherino, miele, liquirizia, spezie, nocciola, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso agrumi, frutta passita, alcol presente, cherry e vino Porto.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours almost black, with moderate fine foam, light brown. Aroma is importantly toasted, almost roasted/coffee, liquor and wood. Body is not much more than average, with good carbonation and nice stickiness. Taste is medium-high sweet, with a pretty long final.
