Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Tap. Pours opaque black, medium tan head, good lacing. Aroma is very roasty, astray, coffee, cocoa. Flavor is initially whiskey, then the stout comes in leaving mellow vanilla, cocoa, coffee, marshmallow. Medium sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. This beer hits a lot of nice notes, but it’s not quite yet in tune.
