Many thanks for that dark wheat beer To Mariusz. Sour is rulles in this Ale, I'm lovin it. Po nalaniu piekna sino brazowo rudawa barwa, ze srednia piana i szybko opadajaca, ale aromat jest tu przedni jakby odkrecic wiecko od domowej roboty ogorkow kiszonych, dodatkowo mamy tu owoce suszone a zwlaszcza figi, mnostwo fig, banany posypane cynamonem i ta genialna lekka kwaskowatosc, ktora uwielbiam, malo slodkie, w zasadzie nic a nic slodyczy, chmielu jest umiarkowanie ale ta kwaskowa goryczka po prostu mistrzostwo, no i ladna etykieta na zgrabnej butelce typu swing-top. Wypite w polowie ze szklanicy Erdingera do pasztecikow z kapusta i grzybami. For me is a one of the best dark wheat beer.

500 ml bottle served in Weißbier glass. Cloudy bright brown colour, medium creamy head. Banana, lemon, yeast, some apple. Well balanced taste, slightly bitter and sweet with some sourness. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Creamy texture. Nice, but not sure if it is a Dunkelweizen. For me it is a normal Hefeweizen, but with some roasted malt. It reminds me on Schneider Weisse’s Tap 7.

Murky brown hazy with big light brown head. Aroma is yeasts, bubblegum, clove, some dried fruits, no roast/chocolate I guess. Taste is a little alcoholic/phenolic some medium sweetness and low bitterness sourness. More alcohol in the finish. Medium body, some mildly uncanny foamy mouthfeel. If I would have had to guess it would have called it a below average Weizenbock. Still OK.

Boca 0.5L...pivo stvarno dobroga okusa, standardnog za pšenična piva, banana i slično, lijepe tamno smeđe boje, iako piše da je dunkel ipak nema onaj karakteristični okus dunkela...

Pours a dark brown looking color with thick and creamy white head. Wonderful, very hazy appearance. Lovely sweet smell typical of wheat beers. Really good first impressions on this one. So far, this is the best Maxlrainer. If someone knows how to make a wheat beer then it’s Germans. Full body with a thick and creamy texture. Somewhat high carbonation for the style.Very rich taste - bread, herbs, spices... Wonderful combination. Beautifully balanced beer well worth a try. Overall - loved it! Great example of the style. Recommended!

Dunkel hefiger, mild herber Beginn.

Ganska platt.Nej, inget vidare.

0.5 l bottle at Sheridan’s Irish pub, Zagreb, Croatia. Hazy brownish orange with creamy diminishing off white head. Malts and banana, but not very aromatic. Sweet with a dry touch, not really pleasant. Soft carbonation, body rather thin. Dry finish. Not my favorite.

Brown body with a two finger head. It is quite dark for a Hefeweizen. Smell of sweet malt and wheat . There are small hints of clove and banana. Sweet malt flavors take over in the aftertaste. It is medium bodied with a nice carbonation kick, quite refreshing.
