28/12/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Pizza Port Tap Takeover. Color rubino intenso, scuro, riflessi di vinaccia, schiuma leggera e poco persistente. Naso leggermente etilico, caramello, frutta rossa, ciliegie sotto spirito. In bocca è dolciastra, con note di frutta rossa, caramello e alcol che brucia in gola. Corpo medio-pieno, carbonazione corretta. Una scotch ale più che discreta, molto ben fatta.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark red//brown color with a small grey head. The aroma is massive rich fruit and dusty tomes. A nice flavor of rich caramel, heavy sweet candied fruits, very dry. Enjoyable. Very big.

From tap at Carlsbad. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted and malty. Sweet fruity and roasted toffee malty flavoured. Mild fruity and dark caramelish base flavoured into the finish with a smooth fruity accent. Nice.

On tap as Reeds Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. Pours with a brown body and a thin off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweet with peat and dates. Taste is cinnamon, currants, peet and a touch of wood. Water like mouthfeel, light bubbles.
